Your rooms are available from 15.00 o'clock.Of course you can already leave your luggage with us and explore Cologne when you arrive earlier. An early arrival is possible subject to availability and prior arrangement for a small surcharge.

Check Out
Our rooms are available until 12.00 o'clock. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us until you depart to your next location. Valuables can be put in our safe. Our front-desk employees look forward to helping you.

Hypo-allergenic bedding is available. Please inform us before your arrival, so that we can arrange everything for you.

Children under 12 years can stay for free as a third person in the room of the parents. Please notify us upfront if you have children with you. Cot is possible with prior booking and availability. Our staff is looking forward to helping you.

Unfortunately dogs and other pets are not allowed in our hotel. We ask for your understanding!

The price for one day/24 hours of parking is EUR 30,00 (counting starts with entering garage) / EUR 2,50/hour for shorter stays.

Another parking possibility is given at "Zülpicher Wall" street (aprox. 600m from Hotel) for EUR 5,00/day.

There are also other parking facilities such as Park + Ride at Cologne Zoo (Riehler Str. 190, Köln 50735). From there Hotel Esplanade is reachable via public transportation.

We have a cleaning service for our guests. Prices are available in your room.

We welcome you at our hotel bar 24h a day.

Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. We do not offer any smoking rooms, smoking on our balcony is not permitted as well. In case of a violation, a special cleaning fee is due. Outside the hotel there is a sheltered smoking area. Thank you for your understanding!

Since December 1, 2014, the City of Cologne has levied a culture subsidy for the taxation of paid private overnight stays in hotels.

For business stays, we ask for appropriate confirmation from the employer, so that it is ensured that the employer does not incur any additional taxes (e.g. city tax, bed tax, culture tax, tax for the Promotion and Advancement of Culture etc.). Please have an informal document (stamped, signed) with you, which confirms that your hotel stay is necessary for business purposes. Accomodation is necessary professionally if the professional activity or the commercial or freelance work in Cologne would not be possible or unconscionable without the overnight stay.

The next gym is “Just Fit” in about 150 meters distance (Zülpicher Platz, Hohenstaufenring 30-32, 50674 Köln). Day tickets are abvailable.

The nearest swimming pool is “Agrippabad” in 15 minutes walking distance/car 5 minutes car ride. It contains a sunbathing area, sauna, waterslide, paddling pool for children and a snack bar.

The nearest “Claudiustherme” is just 10 minutes away. The “Claudiustherme” is located in Cologne's “Rheinpark”. It is one of the greatest hot spring resorts in Europe with view to Cologne Cathedral.
